Accepting our offer for guest accommodation at the Norlands means that you have entered into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions below:
Booking can be done online, via email or over the phone. If you book your stay DIRECTLY, we don’t have to pay HUGE commissions to the online travel agents such as Booking.com and we can pass those savings on to you, with discounts for all guests.
Reservations may be taken however, bookings are not guaranteed until the first night’s stay has been pre-authorised by the Norlands hotel utilising valid card. Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to the end of the free cancellation period set out by the Norlands (in the present situation this is 30 days before your arrival date).

Once a reservation is confirmed, a legally binding contract exists between the accommodation provider the Norlands Hotel and the person named on the booking form.  A booking may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the check in date free of charge.

We take a deposit for the first night of each room as specified in your booking 30 days before your arrival, whereas the remaining balance is taken 7 days before arrival.

Any cancellations made within less than 30 days before your arrival will be liable for the full balance of the booking. Any guests failing to arrive will be liable for the total cost of their booking. 

PLEASE BE ADVISED TO HAVE INSURANCE IN PLACE WHEN MAKING ANY TRAVEL BOOKINGS AT HOME JUST AS YOU WOULD FOR ABROAD!

For booking with an arrival date of less than 7 days from the booking, the amount payable for the stay becomes due immediately and will be taken 24 hours of the booking being made.

Non-availability

In the unusual situation where we need to cancel a booking, we contact guests as soon as possible giving you as much notice as we can. Payments already received will be fully refunded.
Room Occupancy
The number of persons staying must not exceed the stated number booked and children must be included in the stated number of persons booked, if extra persons are found to be in the room, you will be asked to leave and no refund given.
Children
As a quiet hotel we do not accept children any younger than 7.
Damage
Please take care with our accommodation, we take great pride in providing excellent facilities and high levels of cleanliness. You are responsible, liable and will be charged for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.
Upon booking with us you authorise us to charge you any costs we incur if you cause damage in our hotel including costs for specialist cleaning, repair and renewal, the cost of the room for any time period it is unusable and any other inconvenience caused.
A nominal charge of £50 will be levied for replacement room keys should the need arise.We reserve the right to terminate your booking without refund and reserve the right to require you to leave the hotel immediately.
Environmental Policy
We will strive to recycle at the Norlands and reduce waste wherever possible.
Smoking and Vaping Policy:
We are 100% NON SMOKING/NON Vaping venue (including all forms of e-cigarettes). Anyone found smoking/vaping on the premises will be asked to leave and charged £80.00 for the extra cleaning of the room. The smoke detectors/panels are very sensitive and can be set of by vaping meaning you disturb everyone else.

Stag and Hen Dos: We regret that we do NOT take stag or hen parties.

Departure
Please vacate your room by 10:00am on the day of departure.

Pets:
Pets are NOT permitted.

Families arriving with children under 7 or babies will NOT be checked into the property and no refund will be payable.
